Job Description
We’re looking for a talented Sous Chef to join a high-level kitchen delivering refined, produce-led cuisine at Michelin standard. This is a fantastic opportunity for a strong senior chef to step into a leadership role within a serious culinary environment focused on quality, precision and consistency.
You’ll work closely with the Head Chef to drive standards, support the team and ensure exceptional execution across service. This role suits someone passionate about fine dining who thrives in a disciplined, creative and high-performance kitchen.
Key responsibilities
• Support the Head Chef in leading daily kitchen operations
• Maintain Michelin-level standards in preparation, presentation and execution
• Lead and develop junior chefs and kitchen teams
• Ensure consistency and quality across all services
• Manage ordering, stock control and supplier relationships
• Maintain strict hygiene, food safety and kitchen compliance standards
• Support menu development and seasonal changes
• Drive efficiency, organisation and calm leadership during service
• Uphold a positive, professional kitchen culture
What we’re looking for
• Proven experience as Junior Sous or Sous Chef in a Michelin or high-end kitchen
• Strong technical cooking ability and attention to detail
• Calm, organised and confident leader during service
• Passion for high-quality produce and refined cooking
• Experience managing and mentoring junior teams
• High standards of cleanliness, organisation and discipline
• Driven, ambitious and committed to continuous improvement
