Job Description
This role is for a Sous Chef who can lead from the pass, support the Head Chef, and keep the kitchen running smoothly even when it’s full throttle. You’ll be hands-on in service, trusted with responsibility, and instrumental in driving standards, consistency, and team development.
What you’ll be doing
• Supporting the Head Chef with day-to-day kitchen operations
• Leading services and running the pass when required
• Training, mentoring, and developing the kitchen team
• Maintaining food quality, consistency, and presentation
• Supporting GP control, stock, ordering, and waste management
• Ensuring food safety, hygiene, and kitchen compliance
• Stepping up in the Head Chef’s absence

• Experience as a Sous Chef or strong Junior Sous ready to step up
• Confident leader with a calm, organised approach
• Strong technical skills and attention to detail
• Comfortable in fast-paced, high-volume kitchens
